IRON LOYALTY.
Canine metal compositions by Aldo Giudici.

Aldo Giudici is originally from Stabio (1939) and trained at the chair of nature. After graduating in veterinary medicine at the University of Zurich, he held important positions such as owner of the veterinary conduct of Mendrisiotto, director of the municipal slaughterhouse of Mendrisio, professor at the agricultural school of Mezzana.

The art critic Dalmazio Ambrosioni thus defines Giudici's work:
“As we look at these animals so precisely defined, physiognomies of men and women come to mind, of a scenario so strongly vitalistic as to induce an affectionate gaze. So much so that we forget that they are nothing more than old irons and parts of assembled tools, because the craftsmanship is so great and so well managed that the irons regain life and vigor, such as to seem brand new. And even the animals, not to be outdone, return to full possession of their unmistakable characteristics, precisely those for which they make themselves loved. But to achieve similar results, in addition to uncommon skills as a craftsman, you also need an unmistakable artistic signature, which comes from what we can call the intelligence of the heart.”
