Enter the atmosphere of the Bottega to retrace the story of the young Mario Rapelli, who becomes an ambassador of the art of delicatessen throughout Switzerland! A true and engaging story that is intertwined with the development of our entire region. An exciting journey from 1929 to today through the testimonies and stories of the evolution achieved by Mario, his butchers and his son Silvio, forerunner of an epochal innovation: the pre-sliced vacuum-packed salami.

"Animals and nature are themes that I love to illustrate. During my journey I have often come across projects that involved cows or pigs as the main subject and which are exhibited here today on the occasion of the exhibition "Porca Vacca".
My goal is to show how fun and varied the use of different techniques is and how much one can experiment by tackling a common subject that binds the different works together in a serious or less serious way: therefore you will find exhibited works created with the chalcographic engraving technique alongside illustrations in which I use collages, acrylic colors and pencils, there are oil paintings but also acrylic paintings or three-dimensional representations created with natural elements and recycled materials.
The theme is only one, the intent instead is to arouse many emotions."
