To identify his tools, the owner could engrave his initials with a blade or imprint them with a fire stamp.
The fire stamp consists of a circular iron rod with a wooden handle. At the end of the rod there is an iron plate on which letters are engraved in relief. The plate with the initials was heated on the fire and delicately placed on the surface to be branded.
