Who is the blacksmith and what does he do?
A farrier is a craftsman who specializes in shoeing horses and cattle, taking care of their extremities (hooves and claws). This profession requires skills not only in working with iron, but also in understanding the physiology of the legs, gait, and specific needs of the animals. With the decline in the equine population, the profession is slowly disappearing, but farriers are still sought after for shoeing horses.
