The incassino is a metal tool composed of two gouge-shaped elements joined together by a metal bar. When the horseshoe needs to be changed, it is used to separate the old shoe from the hoof. Once the shoe is applied, it is also used to bend the tips of the nails that stick out so that they can be removed with pliers.
