What is hay?
Hay is the set of grasses that grow in meadows, cut and dried, intended for feeding livestock in the winter period (during which fresh grasses are not available).
Hay is a food rich in fiber, proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and mineral salts.
To provide an order of magnitude, from 1 quintal of grass you get about 20-25 kg of hay.
