How is honey collected and what tools are used?
First, the honey supers in which the bees have deposited honey are collected. The frames with the honeycombs are removed from these, which are uncapped (freed from the layer of wax that seals them) using a fork, knife or automatic uncapping machine. Subsequently, the honeycombs without cappings are placed in the centrifugal honey extractor to extract the honey, which is then filtered, matured and put into jars.
