How do you work the slope?
Cultivation of sloping land, common in Alpine regions, is a challenge due to the difficulty of moving agricultural vehicles and the risk of soil erosion. To address these challenges, humanity has adopted for centuries the practice of transforming slopes into terraces, creating levels with heights ranging from 1 to 3 meters. Given the difficulty of transporting large tools such as plows, in regions with steep slopes, terraces are worked with hoes and spades.
