What are the different types of ploughing?
There are different types of ploughing used by farmers to prepare the land according to its specific needs. Shallow ploughing, with a depth of about 10-12 cm, is used for purposes such as burying fertilizers and seeds and breaking up roots. Medium ploughing, with a depth of between 15 and 25 cm, is practiced to prepare the land for the next sowing. For periodic renewal of the land, especially between crops, deep or renewal ploughing is used, which can reach 25-40 cm in depth, helping to maintain soil fertility. Finally, deep ploughing, with a depth of up to 1 metre, is used to make uncultivated land cultivable or prepare areas for orchards.
