Harvesting is the initial stage of harvesting ripe cereals, during which the ears are cut. After harvesting, the ears are spread out on the field to dry for one or two days, before being bundled and stacked. Subsequent processing stages include drying the crop, threshing, and separating the grain from impurities and straw.
