The straw fork is a tool used to remove straw from the threshing floor after threshing. Composed of a long wooden handle ending with two or three prongs of the same material, this fork, larger than the hay fork, was preferred for the ease of maneuvering of the wooden prongs compared to the iron ones, which could impale the straw and hinder the work.
