What damage can rodents cause?
Rodents, especially mice and rats, can cause significant damage because they are omnivores and pose a threat to food supplies, including grains, seeds, and cheese. They can also transmit diseases directly to humans or indirectly through fleas and ticks. Contamination of food supplies with feces, urine, and hair is a common problem, and their high reproductive rate can make the situation worse. To manage rodent populations, humans have developed several strategies, including the use of many types of traps that can capture animals alive or cause their immediate death.
